RSS feed, and how to pull your Facebook content onto your mobile page
RSS (Rich Site Summary) is a format for delivering regularly changing web content. Many news-related sites, weblogs and other online publishers syndicate their content as an RSS
Feed to whoever wants it.
You have the ability to pull content from an RSS feed. Just copy the link and put it in the URL field:
You also can specify how many latest feed posts to display.
Instructions for Facebook RSS feed:
- Find the Facebook ID for your Facebook page.
Log into your Facebook page and click on Edit Profile or Change Profile Picture. Look at the URL of the page, and there you’ll see the word “id” followed by some numbers (e.g. “id=186667961348151&sk=picture”. Here the Facebook page ID is 186667961348151. - Take the following URL http://www.facebook.com/feeds/page.php?format=rss20&id=ZZZZZ and replace the “ZZZZZ” with your Facebook ID. So the resulting URL should look something like
http://www.facebook.com/feeds/page.php?format=rss20&id=18666796… - Configure this URL in our RSS feed widget:
